Lighting upgrades & fixtures

Chandeliers, crystal flush-mounts, pendants and fixture swaps, hung level and wired right.

Lighting is where Regal Electric does much of its most visible work: crystal chandeliers over dining tables, drum chandeliers in two-story entries, crystal flush-mounts under textured ceilings. Heavy fixtures need a fan- or fixture-rated box and proper support, and tall ceilings need the right gear to hang them safely and square.

  • Chandelier and pendant installation
  • Crystal and flush-mount fixtures
  • Fixture swaps and new light locations
  • Dimmers and switch upgrades

II

Recessed LED lighting

Can-light conversions and new LED recessed layouts that brighten a room without adding heat.

Recessed LED lighting upgrades are one of the services lettered on the company van. Swapping old incandescent cans for LED wafers or retrofit trims cuts heat in the ceiling, and a planned layout with dimmers lights a kitchen or great room evenly instead of in hot spots.

  • New recessed LED layouts
  • Retrofit of older can lights
  • Dimmer-compatible LED wafers
  • Under-cabinet and in-cabinet lighting

Home remodel wiring

Kitchens, baths and room remodels: circuits, lighting and devices planned around the new layout.

“Specializing in home remodeling” is the first line on the Regal Electric van. A remodel is the right moment to fix what the original wiring never planned for: dedicated appliance circuits, counter receptacles with the right protection, layered lighting, and a panel with room for it all.

  • Kitchen remodels: appliance circuits, island power, lighting
  • Bathroom remodels: GFCI circuits, vanity and mirror lighting, fans
  • Moving and adding receptacles and switches
  • Coordinating with your contractor and the inspector

New circuits & outlets

Dedicated circuits, added receptacles, switches and ceiling fans where your house needs them.

New circuit installation is part of how Regal Electric describes its own work. Common requests in East Valley homes: a dedicated circuit for a garage fridge or freezer, a workshop or gym, a window or mini-split unit, more receptacles in an office, and ceiling fans in rooms that only had a light.

  • Dedicated appliance and equipment circuits
  • Outlet and switch installation and repair
  • Ceiling fan installation
  • Garage and outdoor receptacles

Troubleshooting & repairs

Dead outlets, tripping breakers, flickering lights and warm devices, found and fixed.

Electrical troubleshooting and repairs are a core service. Finding the actual cause matters: a dead bathroom outlet is often a tripped GFCI two rooms away, and a breaker that trips every summer afternoon may be an overloaded circuit, a failing breaker or a loose connection that is heating up.

  • Outlets, switches and lights that stopped working
  • Breakers that trip or won’t reset
  • Flickering or dimming lights
  • Warm or discolored devices and burning smells

VI

Panel upgrades

Breaker panel replacement and repair when a panel is full, failing or out of date.

Panel upgrades are lettered on the van and listed among the company’s services. A panel may need replacing because it is full, because breakers no longer hold, because of heat damage or corrosion, or because a remodel, pool or EV charger needs space and capacity it doesn’t have.

  • Breaker panel replacement
  • Breaker and panel repair
  • Adding space for new circuits
  • Load review before big additions

Home inspection repairs

Fix the electrical items on a buyer’s or seller’s inspection report so the sale can move.

Home inspection repairs are another service on the van. Typical report items: missing GFCI protection, open grounds, double-tapped breakers, missing cover plates, exposed splices in the attic or garage, and smoke alarms that are missing or expired. Regal Electric also works with home warranty companies.

  • Repairs from buyer or seller inspection reports
  • GFCI and AFCI protection where needed
  • Double taps, open junction boxes and loose devices
  • Home warranty electrical work orders

EV chargers & surge protection

A dedicated 240-volt circuit for a Level 2 charger, and whole-home surge protection at the panel.

As more East Valley drivers go electric, the usual next step is a dedicated 240-volt circuit for a Level 2 charger in the garage. Monsoon lightning is also a good reason to consider a surge protective device at the panel. Both start with a look at the panel’s capacity.

  • Level 2 EV charger circuits
  • Load check before adding a charger
  • Whole-home surge protective devices
  • Dedicated circuits for garage equipment
